The question is Hendry. Will Ricketts can him or allow him to serve out all or a part of his contract (thru 2012). As for the manager, it won't matter right now or in the next year or two who it is, this team as constructed is not winning any time soon. In a best case scenario, they find takes for some of these big contracts this July or next July while young players like Colvin, Castro, Cashner, and Vitters find their way in the big leagues. Then in 2012 or 13 with the right additions via free agency, perhaps they will be ready to make a run.

Then in 2014, we will finally be in the last year of Soriano's contract.

He was playing for the Yankees as an outfielder. An umpire called a strike on him, and Lou turned around and said "That's no strike! Where was that pitch at?" The umpire then said to Lou- "Lou, you can't end a sentence with a preposition".

So, Lou kind of grumbles, gets back in the batters box, and then calls time out and goes "Where's that pitch at *******?"

I'll miss Lou.

Lou/Yanks story was when he showed up before the season with long hair. The Boss told him to cut it and Lou said "Jesus had long hair." The Boss then pointed to a nearby lake and told Lou that if he (Lou) could walk on water, Goerge would let him keep his hair long.

******** stories. I have heard both of those punchlines for years with many different people involved.
