There was some player for the titty dawgs that went first overall in the draft. It was back in the early 2000's. I believer her last name was Thomas

But if you are talking just football then yes. Johnie Cooks would be your answer

Speaking football wise, my 8th grade football coach at Starkville Middle school, Johnie Cooks. 2nd pick in 1982 draft. Never quite panned out in the NFL as a 2nd overall pick but definitely one of the best guys I know.
