So we're at 27-13-1 and we have 14 games remaining. Obviously, win the all and hit 41 wins. Possible, but not likely.

Here is what I'm hoping to see:

Beat OM and Troy in Non-conference games- (29 wins)

Sweep Missouri and Arkansas at home (35 wins)

Sweep Auburn on the road (38 wins)

Take 1 at Bama (39 wins)

Perhaps at that point we'd get credit for the tie and the committee considers us a 40-win team with series wins over four Top 10 teams and we get the national seed.

It's not likely but it's possible.

Yeah. 37 seems like a good goal.

Its hard to pencil in this team sweeping anyone given how Sunday's seem to play out.

Sweeping anyone seems a bit optimistic at this point, considering we are 1-5 in SEC game 3s. If we keep up our pattern and go 2-1 in the rest of our series and drop one of the mid-weeks, that puts us at 36-18, 18-12. That's a realistic, solid finish, and anything beyond would be gravy. We have a game we could make up, but that ship has probably sailed at this point.

After Tuesday, we only have the one remaining mid-week before Auburn. This will help our bullpen. Let's hope Girodo Jr. emerges between now and then.

This is the correct answer. Auburn is our only chance at a sweep with Mizzou a slight possibility. The Hogs have finally gotten their pitching rolling and will be a tough series this late in the season. 36 is where we will end up.

I honestly think that we could sweep a couple of people. It's our infield play as much as our Sunday pitching at this point. That missed infield popup started that merry go round yesterday. We won against the #1 team in the country on Sunday a few weeks ago. Hopefully we can put an entire weekend together.

I think we sweep someone, but I also wouldn't be shocked at all if Bama beats us twice. The back half of our schedule is too light to not get one sweep, and even though Bama can't hit, they can certainly pitch. I could see us losing a couple of low scoring games.

What I see happening:

Win both remaining midweek games
2/3 against Bama, Auburn, and Arky
Sweep Mizzou at home

That puts us at 11-3, so 38-16. Should be good enough for a national seed.
