I am fine with republicans and MAGA demanding answers but the left can STFU. We will hold those whom we elected accountable. I don’t need to hear the b!+ches on the left saying a damn thing about Epstein when they have been silent about him previously.
I understand and I don’t think federal disaster aid will ultimately end up being withheld. I believe this to be a negotiating tactic to spur rogue states to stop pro-Palestinian/anti-Semitic business dealings.
I agree with this, and hope it’s true. I just don’t know if anything other than unlimited support to Israel is anti-semitism. Just like I don’t think those that were against unlimited support to Ukraine made people supporters of Russia.
I’m very pro Israel. Have several Jewish relatives, including my FIL and BIL. Again, I just don’t like leaving Americans in the dust when they need relief from natural disasters. Bad look, no matter which party is doing it.
Withholding funds from schools makes sense to me. Natural disaster victims, not so much.

I’m not talking about “unlimited support” for Israel. I’m talking about boycotting them because of their own pro-Palestine stance. Not making business deals because they don’t make financial sense is one thing, not making business deals because of racist views is quite another.

If you want to get people or corporations or governments to do what you want, use money as leverage.
If your State government is pro-Palestine and is boycotting doing business with Israel, maybe round up a bunch of normal people in your state and demand your State leaders get their heads out of their asses and conduct business in a proper manner rather than through the lens of anti-Semitism. That is what’s happening and you are denying it. Your state government is being forced to drop their pro-Palestine stance by having money withheld and you don’t like it.
