This is rich. Pure political garbage. We had a plaza here named Bed Bath and Beyond Plaza that had to be renamed when BBB went bankrupt and closed all stores nationwide. Bankruptcy had nothing to do with politics.

2 car MV accident, one car with phony injuries claim. (Complaint of pain.) Call out volunteer ambulance to transport to ER.
Tell Ambulance Driver to take it slow to ER because of fog ! He takes off, lights and siren.
5 minutes later we get radio call of another MV accident 5 miles north of the current site.
Sure enough it's the ambulance. A Highway Authority driver had used the U-Turn for Troop cars ONLY with a low boy and cargo and in the fog, Neither had seen the other !
Now we needed 2 ambulances for all the injured. Now everyone has broken this and broken that and actually need ER attention !
One word describes BBB's downfall: Amazon.
However the social media post is talking about doing business in California, which is a legitimate issue for a retailer, restaurant, or any other "retail" business. BBB still has an online business but they'd be crazy to try to get back into retail again - in any state.
When the Bud Light trans controversy erupted, I made it a point not to consume Anheuser Busch products, not because they sent some cans to a transgender, but because their director of marketing was widely quoted about how her mandate from her boss was to shake up the frat boy brand. Search you tube -- she was an up and coming female in New York with an anti-flyover country attitude that only her point of view was correct and she needed to force it on everyone else. I doubt she ever drank a Bud Light.
Cracker Barrel seems the same way. It is not only the logo, it is changes to the whole store that are getting big push back from customers. Why are they doing this? I think it is similar to paragraph #1 above. It is crazy as the main thing Cracker Barrel had going for it was nostalgia, and this CEO has taken that away.

So here's my drunk women story.
DWI, women blows a .32 BAC % on breathalyzer.
NJSP Rules are anyone over .30 BAC %, MUST be transported to local hospital for examination and safety.
So women goes ballistic on us, kicking and screaming as we try to put her in backseat. This is before body cameras.
So we get her screaming by using radio mike for proof of conduct, and stop her kicking by handcuffing her hands and her ankles !
We arrive at local ER and we carry her into a booth, still 2 handcuffed and drunk angry.
ER Nurse refuses to treat her handcuffed ! "Nurse, I don't recommend this !" Still refuses, so we 2 Troopers shrug our shoulders and unhandcuff one arm, but cuff the other arm to gurney.
Lady takes the free arm and starts punching the Nurse ! We quickly restrain the free arm with another cuff to gurney !
"I guess you were correct, Trooper !", Nurse. As she injects calming drugs and we collect 3 pairs of cuffs and leave !

I think the Mayor knows federal funding is going to get cut and that Denver is an easy target for Trump right now. The endless $$ (Biden was rewarding sanctuary cities/states with $$) is gone.
Pritzker doesn't seem to be a top target of Trump, yet.

As we have clearly seen, slowing crime is all about having the political will to do it and allocating the necessary resources. Urban violence is not acceptable or inevitable.
