The WSJ article is written by Rahm Emanuel, former Obama guy and mayor of Chicago. It shouldn't be surprising he wrote an anti Trump defense of windmills. The writer on X summarizes its absurdity well.

Trump's behavior toward Pence up to and including January 1/6 clearly showed his anger toward Pence. This incited the MAGA mob to rage against Pence. Trump may not have given the mob the exact words but he incited them against Pence.

I see all the posts on this board telling me how great the economy is. If the economy is doing so well, then there is no reason to cut rates.
You only cut rates if you are trying to stave off a recession. Is the economy doing well or not?
My wife and I watched the Charlie Kirk memorial today, all 5 hours of it. Some speakers were good, many were great and one or 2 just so so. Erika Kirk was outstanding and probably the highlight. Trump stayed mostly on topic although he did mention a major announcement on autism tomorrow with RFK from the White House.
They had a bullet proof clear shield around the whole podium area even though the event was indoors and everyone was searched before gaining admittance. The stage and layout were impressive and indicative of what Turning Point is capable of putting together on short notice. Well done.
