The fact that you don’t even recognize how lame this is explains a lot about you.

You were the unathletic kid taunting from the stands while the rest of us were actually competing.
Haha, yeah, cross country meets are the epicenter of sporting fandom - so many hecklers. My great regret at the U of I was not seeing the greatest athlete of my time at the U of I. Yet, I played with Kendall Gill, watched Jeff George, Nick Anderson, 2x Olympian Dominick Minicucci, and Kenny Battle. But, the guy who later became the second best player in the world, I never went to see him compete.

As for me, totally comfortable with my sporting prowess which was fantastic. However, I learned early on that there was always someone better. Hence, I turned down D3 sporting offers in favor of an education.

You on the other hand, after an "elite" XC high school career, could not pass up the Division 3 offers to continue competing. Fair enough. But, one has to wonder why such a phenomenal specimen couldn't even garner a Division 2 offer let alone D1.

I've always wondered who the Al Bundy of this board was and now I have my answer, the Ickster! (I was all-state cross-country at Taft High School). Congrats Icky!

That’s a lot of self-aggrandizing from our chronically insecure hiking legend. Mocking accomplishments you never reached is pretty sad.

You’ve invented so much about me you can’t keep your own story straight. I’ve never talked about what level I ran at or what offers I had. I don’t need your validation.

By now, you should realize that Trump compliments pretty much everyone he meets with.

I don’t know, I find that attribute better than the name calling and villianization we hear from other leaders. Probably makes it easier for him to negotiate with people.

Our last President wouldn’t have been capable of even sitting through a meeting like that. Definitely wouldn’t have been able to answer questions after.
I have no issue with the meeting.

The LOL is over seeing the most recent MAGA boogeyman getting praised by Trump. I thoroughly enjoy watching MAGA walking back the takes on Mamdani now.

I haven't seen many walking back their concerns about Mamdani. Trump has dealt with some of the most notorious villians in the world. He doesn't villianize them, he knows they are part of the world that we have to deal with.

Mamdani seems to be able to get people to like him, despite some of his beliefs. Pretty similar to Trump, in that regard.

Despite Mar-a-Lago being a primary living space for Trump, he is a New Yorker through and through. He has significant personal and business interest in the city. The difference between the two is Trump has actually held a real job, had/has employees, made money and had been a decision maker for many decades. Mamdani has never held a real job, AFAIK.

Dumbest post of 2025. Misleading question. What is Trump supposed to do, forgive all their student debt? Give them lots of free stuff. Subsidize everything possible. If you click on the link the young people want jobs, except your party wants the taxpayer (er borrowed money) to hire them. Trump is trying to bring real jobs to America. I think the Gen Z realize that ongoing government handouts will ruin this country but their elders ...

Getting rid of tens of millions of illegals and BS H1B and other garbage cisas will not only help the job market for all, but will make housing more affordable for Gen Z. Trump is trying to get stuff done, while leftist billionaires filter money through non-profs to pay for protests (astroturf) and dems play games.

Ah, you did do D3. Can't keep track of your lies! Try the truth, much easier to keep your story straight Al.

I was told Rasmussen is the only poll worth paying attention to.

The sentiment is the same across multiple generations, so I’m not sure what point you thought you were making.

And let’s be honest, “dumbest post” and “your party” don’t exactly sting when there were QAnon posts shared today. Maybe try forming an actual argument instead of leaning on ad hominem training wheels.

I have been off on the lack of attention to our own hemisphere for decades. It’s nice to see leadership that recognizes the Monroe Doctrine as something more than lip service. If the US had paid more attention to the Americas, as opposed to being overly concerned with Europeen issues, we should have had a giant hemisphere of capitalism and success throughout South, Central and North America. The fact that we have a 3rd world country run by cartels on our southern border is embarrassing and a total endictment of our government over the course of the previous 100 years.

This woman is a moron. There are any number of women who choose not to have children. They don’t care if others desire to get married and have a family. Patriarchy? Look at what happens to groups in our society who tend not to have fathers in the household.
