This is anecdotal rather than evidenced based, but I do follow football recruiting closely and I get the feeling we are getting a higher avg level of recruit to campus this summer over last. Anyone else get a sense one way or the other? If my spidey senses are accurate we will have some blue chips on board before the season starts and get out ahead of where we were last year having to catch up.

I sense that too. Hoping for 12-15 4*s this go around.

They are going after bigger fish now. With Coen he is going to target 4-5* QB’s and with Cutter’s commitment he has shown he will get them too. That will help with getting bigger rated players especially on the offensive side of the ball. Defensively we have had success, now we’re seeing it on the offensive side of the ball. I like our staff with Mike Stoops, Boulware, Woody, and Collins. Of course The Big Dog.

They have an air of confidence about them now that wasn’t there before. They were having to sell a dream. Now they’ve had enough success that they can sale results. Can not stress enough how much having Liam back helps

Yes, but don't forget that Jpker was totally inept because he couldn't win in the SEC with two four stars on his team. And both of them were highly rated also, for his first year. The direct result of our AD doing ZERO football improvements for his first ten years. Our football hero.

I think 12 or more is a very realistic goal, and a few of them should be more than 5.8s too.
