I just don't get it. We can do better than an Assistant at Oklahoma State
I guess you also want Richard Williams and John Brady back as well with Kermit Davis Jr, and Bob Marlin

Can he recruit? Sure, but so can almost everybody else on the list.
Im not so sure that Pierre is even on my top 10 for this job. </p>

Some of you Stans Apologist are going to be surprised by our hire and the names that we had contact with during the search.
The MSU coaching job is a Top 30 job in the nation, and so is the pay.

I loved this part...

"What is certain is that Drew has been caught doing negative recruiting and been confronted several times by fellow coaches. Some, sources said, have gone so far as to threaten bodily harm if he did it again."

I think it was Self that threatened to beat his ***.

I'd like to see how you came to that. Pay? Sure. Facilities, fanbase, budget, and conference? Nope. We're likely the 6th or 7th best job just in the SEC. UK, UF, Bama, Arkansas, Vandy, and Tennessee are all arguably better basketball programs and have more to offer. This isn't SEC football we're talking about here. The SEC isn't even a top 3 conference in basketball and hasn't been for 10 years maybe longer.

As for your "Stans apologist" comment, I was amongst those who wanted Stans gone 2 years ago. Look it up yourself in posts I made.

Xavier has been to 4 of the last 5 Sweet 16's. Mack has made 2 of 3. Miller made the Sweet 16 his last 2 years before going to AZ.

With that logic...hell lets go with Michael Jordan..He was great at basketball....so that automatically means he would dominate as a coach...in college..

oh...wait...this is the Boise State to the SEC guy......nevermind I get it now..

I've seen Michael Jordan, Phil Jackson and Mike D'antoni named on this board. I put Reggie Miller (I wish) and you take it seriously. Lighten the 17 up.
