for those that follow Twitter as much as I do, both Mo Jabbie and Anthony Russo took Rutgers commit out of their Twitter bios today... Usually not a great sign, but Mo would be the last person I thought would decommit (said the same about Ted Field though)

I suspect the offensive side of the ball commits might waiver, at least until they know who the Off Coord is. The Def side should be happy.

Russo removed his earlier in the week, before anyone knew that Ash w/b hired.

I have been very public about this. I think that this class will take a very, very big hit. The only way we would have kept this class in tact is if we kept Flood. But if we kept Flood the 2017 class would have been a travesty, so it evens out.

Evens out? No it doesn't. Although I am all for what we have done here we have no depth now and now we may have even less...This cycle of recruiting failure will affect us for years to come, Ash or no Ash.

Likely going to run a spread option attack like OSU.

Look for some people to leave but that gives them room to add some people.

Russo doesn't fit into that scheme.

Don't have the horses to run pro set either. At least the spread in some variation uses more deception and the QB as another runner.

At an interview last year, Ash said if he became a HC, he wouldn't run the same offense as Urban. He'd likely run some spread but also mix it with a power offense. But the QB would be able to move with the pocket. I think Russo in a spread like WSU would work.
