The Hughes/Duncan transfers made Wenzel a hero at Rutgers.Its been a very long time waiting for another NCAA bid.Most fans would be now satisfied with just a winning record which tells how bad the program has been .

That is correct. Cuse fired Pasqualoni, and Rice and Greene decided to come to RU. Best thing that ever happend to RU Football. And as an added benefit, 'Cuse made the brilliant hire of Greg Robinson, who brought the Orange program to it's knees.
