I think he thought it was 2 outs and was going for the easiest play.I’m in a hotel room watching this… the moment the SS turned to 3rd I said out loud… “WT17?!”
That’s a helluva point in the season to lose a grip on the situation… but maybe so.I think he thought it was 2 outs and was going for the easiest play.
Of course ESPN "wants" another SEC champ. ESPN has invested so much money in the SEC.ESPN doesn't want another SEC champ. But they want 3 games. Chants win and LSU forgotten even being there in July.
I don’t think so. He wanted to get a sure out and the lead runner. The moment got to him. Had this been a regular season game in April he goes to 2nd to start a game-ending double play.I think he thought it was 2 outs and was going for the easiest play.
That's insane. And you can almost say the SS going to 3rd was a mental error. Then the error in left. Then the ball off the 2nd basemans glove. It's a Shakespearean comedy of errors at this point.LSU had 3 errors and won
Is this a case of LSU wins weird games? Or Arkansas chokes in Omaha?
