These two teams don’t have the same strike zone.
They tried to put on that coastal would be getting all the favorable stuff, but it's been opposite so far. Corndogs getting an ample box.
Looking over their schedule, its pretty apparent they have a strong pitching staff.
If the one against Murray State a few days ago was intentional, so was that one.
I do think if the ball is in the batter’s box, it should be a regular ball though. A strike is just brutal in that scenario.
I don’t see how LSU has made it this far. They just don’t let playoff baseball phase them. They have multiple holes in the lineup. Good pitching though.

Nobody else did crap tonight, so maybe that's a good sign for CC chances for tomorrow.
No doubt that CC has the advantage on the mound for the next 2 games. And at the plate as well.

There's no question. It only takes one of these type performances to totally 17 up your arm (and not just TJ, other things), how bad depends on how good you are and how in shape you are. Some overcome it, some do for a while, some don't at all.

I saw a draft pick in high school throw 2 back to back 7 inning games in one day. No idea how many pitches, but he never panned out, and always said his arm was never the same after that day.
Even with perfect mechanics, you start breaking down over 100. Start using more arm action.
With all the crowd advantage, with their one and only almost ace on the mound, it still came down to 1-2 plays.
