If we make it to the championship series i am driving to Omaha for the series. How difficult is it to get into the game through general admission and how difficult is it to get tickets?

You shouldn't have trouble getting in with GA.
Last night the ga sections didn't fill up until after game time. But be warned, it's full sun the whole time.
I suspect tickets will be more readily available with LSU gone, but a) a lot of them go to all the games anyway and b) a striking number of locals actually go to the games.

You can buy GA admin tickets anywhere around the stadium. Tons of scalpers selling them for face value. We got in line about an hour and 15 minutes before first pitch yesterday and got seats on the third row right behind the MSU bullpen in RF. Great view. The line looked daunting but it actually moved pretty quickly.
I encourage anyone who is able to go to do so. Great experience, beautiful ball park, and the city does a great job of catering everything to the fans.
