We were playing from behind the ENTIRE 2nd half folks and ND played their MF'n a44es off. They played absolutely PERFECT IMO.

All I have to ask of you all is...

I clicked on the link so I could donate some money to this very worthy cause but the link re-directed me to an S&M porno site which was apparently set up exclusively for transexual midgets...I mean little people.

WTF, willy???

Sorry, kooky...I tried.

Can't sleep. Still hyped about the game. Can't believe we won that touching thing haha.

Just felt like one of those nights -- we miss a bunch of bunnies, ND gets every bounce, call and break -- and then...we pull a Dalton AND RIP OUT THEIR TOUCHING ESOPHAGUS AND SHOW IT TO THEM BEFORE THEY DIE LOLOLOLOLOLOL.

Not going to lie, with two minutes left I thought it was over. Then big balls Aaron hits a 3 from downtown Cleveland and hope was restored. Let's end Wisconsins season again!!!

that's a good one.

Here's the scene I was referencing (NC-17, Strong Language, Graphic Violence). The funny thing is I meant to say "trachea" instead of "esophagus" in my original post, but either one is a season-ender
.

I can just hear the ND basketball faithful, all 24 of 'em nationwide, collectively saying "DAMN BOYS, WE THOUGHT Y'ALL WERE GOOD" and then AaH saying "go touch yourselves" before he buried that 25 footer to tie it. I'm still giddy
.

Like I tweeted: Which is better, to crush someone's soul (ala WVA), or rip out their eso-trachea (ala ND)?

Ans: In the immortal words of disgraced Fmr. Col. Nathan R. Jessup: "Either way, I DON'T GIVE A DAMN, AS LONG AS THEY TOUCHING DIE."

Prayers sent buddy.

I have been there. It feels like the worst thing in the world, but it is for a reason. She will get another job/career/opportunity. The biggest thing for her is to take time off. Serious. Dont go buck wild with it. Actually, what ever will make her feel better, you should support, if she wants to mass apply, help her edit her cover letters. If she needs 3-4 weeks to mope, let her grieve. Then help her. You will get through it. We did. Try and pick up extra work if you can, be supportive. Also, it may seem like she is doing nothing all day, but its going to have an impact on her self-esteem, be there for her, and understand, she isnt being lazy, and that the average person is off work for 8 months. It wont be that long.

Thanks guys. She is a pediatric nurse practitioner. Her boss tried to go to bat for her. She was behind on billing a few patients. That is what got her.

Otherwise, she was well liked and very hard working. I'm just I. A state of shock. When she called to let me know, I thought our kid had died or something. My head is just spinning. Live in southeast iowa.

Chillin at da beach. It gets exponentially harder each year to not be creepy old dude. As the big league thread said, "Nice talent."

Sorry about your lady's job, bud. That sucks. Hope everything works out.

I'll start a new thread tonight if I can get a few minutes of peace. Gotta think of a snazzy new title.

It's been a real National Lampoon Vacation kind of trip, so far. I'll share the fun later on.

dang 93. Not sure how specialized that is. Can she transfer it to general NP? i.e. work at walgreen's or an immdiate care center? my guess is pediatrics is very specialized. Usually, though, I bet there is high demand. Thats a big chunk of change to lose, so my condolences, but she will find work. You may have to move.

Man, I will say there is one thing that I see a lot of openings for is nurse pract. When I was looking at social work jobs there were lots of nurse pract. jobs available. This is will be a big blow, but because she is in the right field, she will be back in no time. That's my personal take on it. I don't know anyone in Iowa, if this was Lex I have a friend in Lex who could help with a job. Hmm, I will be thinking on this one.

Funky- Hope you enjoying the beach brutha.

What Willy said. My wife is an NP. All our (her) friends are NP. If you guys lived in Louisville, could swing some connections your way. If interested in moving back home, hit me up, I can at least make some introductions.

Damn dude, just noticed this. Really sorry to hear that. Hang tough brother. Prayers sent.

I know how you feel. Years ago when I was just out of school, a week before Christmas, I was at an office and the "owner" came in after I had seen my last patient and told me my services were no longer required. Totally out of the blue. It eventually all worked out for the best though.
