The line for the game seems low. Opened at -7, now at -7.5. I expect the crowd to be amped up with ESPN being there.
Of course it was acting. At least according to Brian Williams (not sure he's so trustworthy these days).Originally posted by Willy4UK:

Rogue Killer is some good ish. I had to run that on my comp a couple of years ago. Damn virus wouldn't let MalwareBytes even load.Originally posted by -LEK-:
FCC, sent you an email.
ok, try downloading this. you can remove all of it later.
You might have to do a system restore or a new OS restore, which the system restore will keep data, the other wont. Odds are the virus you have wont let you and blocks restore points.
Dowload this
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/combofix/
Combofix
also, you need
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/roguekiller/
Rogue killer.
Rogue killer stops the hidden process, which are causing your antivirus and malwayrebytes not to catch it. run rogue, then combofix. probably should do this in safemode.
I have a hard time believing avast isnt able to run in safe mode.
Try going to the Run>Msconfig>Boot. uncheck the networking. restart try running avast without networking. If it still says no dice, its corrupted and you should unistall, msconfig>boot? click networking back on, restart, then reinstall it from website. then run it. dont perform any actions while not in safe mode.
After this is all done, you are going to need to switch all your passwords.

Great to hear FCC, we can't have our group with any comp probs, esp. today.Originally posted by FutureCityCats:
LEK, I think it's a whole lot better. So far, I'm not getting those "take over" ads. Stay tuned. FCC.
Yeah, the unkept/scruffy look looks good on some men, not so much on Rick. Someone close -- Joanne, Jurich, Karen, etc... -- needs to tell him to shave once in a while.Originally posted by AustinTXCat:
Just watched Rick Pitino give a pre-game interview before the UoL-UVa game. My gosh, he looks rough, with the beard and all.
Funny you mention this. On an old board, alt.sports.college.sec.kentucky, I remember when a current poster Rivals poster described Rick's looks. Fifteen years ago. I had to find this old post for some context. The Dude posted there back then, too. Nice trip down memory lane. BTW, I posted on that old board as "techheadz", as I was a huge computer nerd and, yes, a hacker back then. We really hated our demise from the KY basketball we had all come to enjoy.Originally posted by maverick1:

Good story Ghost. Thanks. I have learned over the years that there is always 2 sides to the story. Quite honestly, I have had my share of events happen in my life. In some of the events, it has isolated me from certain people, some of whom were friends, and some friends at a distance. I was able in some cases to tell my side of the story, the straight truth, which was way different than the rumors going around and some folks apologized for believing otherwise, even some, months later.Originally posted by GhostVol:
It's not often that I feel like a total jerk, but I do today. Was out and about last night. Ended up at Mynt, as usual. At the table next to mine was two guys and a cougar. Both of the guys had that hipster look. Cougar wanted to dance so she kept pulling this one guy up.
To say that this guy had no moves at all would be an understatement. The best adjective I can think of would be 'spastic'.
Then the guy fell down. Chuck and I thought he was drunk. Being the guy I am, I got him back on his feet, but I had to lift him up like you do a kid. By the time the other dude got there, I already had him standing again. Both he and the cougar were thanking me profusely and even offered to buy me a drink. I refused politely, telling them I was driving (I was, but really didn't want to be around them much longer). Then the REAL story came out.
Time for them to leave. And when the one guy rolled up a wheelchair...yeah. The guy I thought was spastic needs a wheelchair since he can't walk for any distance. The other guy was his brother. The cougar was his aunt.
1st thing. I need to kick myself because auntie was nice looking and I assumed she was just trying to get her hands on one or the other of the two guys. And two...I damn near laughed at a handicapped person. Thank goodness I talked to them enough to get the real story. And I should have accepted that drink.

All for stem cell. They can do it without the "dead fetus" testing that gets people riled up. Others ways of doing it. I think it is awesome. Just read about a recent completed a study about stem cell helping with brain damage. I'm all for it. Anything to help our folks...Originally posted by HeshimuBlu:
Talking about my brother. I have a question?
Do you agree/disagree with Stem Cell Research? Be honest...
Obviously I'm interested to learn more about, because of his condition. He was born with it, not an accident, and we, as a family noticed in his early teens he was extremely clumsy, but it got worse, forever...Dr said he had MS, but he has a disease called Myo something? ( if anyone wants to know I can/will provide) It is so long I cannot begin to pronounce, much less spell, but after lots of testing at Cleveland Clinic, they said his spine was fusing apart, little at a time and would eventually just snap. It just progressed, from his neck down, but he does have movement in his left arm very good now. right arm little. I think it is as bad is it is going to be, which we all feel blessed with, because when he was first diagnosed (22 yrs old at that time, after 4 years of extensive testing) they said he would be on breathing tube. He was married and thankfully had a beautiful child.
There was a trial that his Dr submitted him for in Switzerland about 8 years ago, results where amazing. BUT ,without funding/approval could not continue. Guess that is why it is testing.
BTW...not trying to bring anyone down, this is not a sad story. He is amazing and is happy, I just wish I could find him a girl, because he is so so handsome...but it takes a very SPECIAL person to live in that life.
/rant again.
