Thanks guys. I guess it's her and her parents decision to hire attorney but the guy is currently sitting in jail cell for DUI I guess. She's home and doing well, just scraped up real good. Her car is totaled.

You have to be a GD communist heathen to not like Flavorice and ice cream cakesKooky the Flava Flav/Vanilla Ice idea is one of the best I've heard in a long time. Solid, solid goldBrupp, sorry about your gf, and as others have said -- please advise her and her parents to at least consult an attorney immediately. Stay ahead of it.Blu, I didn't see your dinner post til just now. However, what would have been my advice last night will still apply tonight: 9 oz filet, medium, loaded baked potato (no sour cream, of course), grilled veggie medley slathered in butter, salad with ranch AND bleu cheese dressing, some form of chocolate for dessert. YWIA.One other thing Blu -- don't let the food snobs intimidate you, A-1 is perfectly acceptable on your steak if you want. Why? Because you're a rational, free-thinking, self-actualized adult who can make her own decisions and also because A-1 is GD delicious, that's why. I mix that stuff with milk it's so touching good.Game prediction: Sadly, I think we drift along and end with another 16-18 point ho-hum, lackluster win. We're still just treading water right now. The skull-touching, no mercy Terminator robot phase of the season begins in a couple weeks.Booker is gonzo. Not the person Gonzo, but rather the adjective gonzo.

I've always liked watching high-level tennis, and usually keep up with the main stories, but somehow Djokovic won four Australian Opens without me realizing it. I thought he had like two and remember it wasn't that long ago that he was still looking to break through. Now he's playing for his FIFTH title.

Time touching sucks.

It was probably just a fat finger, happens to a lot of people. All you have to do is look to the top right corner of your post and notice the EDIT I REPLY option. You want to click on EDIT.

Now go to the Ebonic word of choice and take another stab at it. Once you've created another word, hit SAVE CHANGES.

That's all there is to it. PM me if you need any further assistance.

Jed, Jed, Jed. Long time no see. Honey kill the fatted calf, Jed has come to visit. Jed, bless you for your discerning of this D-league bunch of, of, uh, folks. I know it must be a full time job. D-league, join me in acknowledging Sir Jed and this load of carrying our souls as we often stray from the straight and narrow path. Hats off to Jed. E. FCC.

No, my friend. THIS is a proper salaam to Uncle Jed:

Jed is known as a friend to the D-league. A man who gets things done. One who is a learned man of wisdom. An interpreter of life's direction. A man who can be trusted with the darkest of secrets. The man who puts the lives of strangers (the D-league) above his own. Jed says "Go" and we will go forth. "Return" and we return forthwith. He can delete us from the D on a whim, yet he is merciful. He is Jed.

I ask you, is there a more classically beautiful woman than Diane Lane? Watching "Secretariat," and even with a blonde Betty Crocker 'do she absolutely DESTROYS the screen.

edit: the merest thought of her beauty was enough to make me temporarily forget my internet manners. my bad

Fantasy baseball? No gracias. That's a full-time job. Darn near half a calendar year keeping up with 25 freaking players.

What a crappy day out there. Rain and just warm enough to make me go to work tomorrow.

Church was good. The place is finally hitting its stride message, outreach and worship-wise. I expect the whole thing to blow up at any minute, as it usually does when things are going well.

Starting a discipleship class tomorrow night. I need to get out of my comfort zone a little and try something new. I'll prolly hate it. Ha.

Speaking of 'church', Joel Osteen hives me the chills.

5/8 of the way through the school year, kids. Seems unreal. What a fast paste year.

Seahawks over the Pats by two or three. Tommy gets nervous and gets picked to seal it. He's guilty as touch, by the way. Just watched his Bob Costas interview. Slimy.

Strange ending to the superbowl. Pete Carrol crapped the bed with the call not to run the ball. I had to laugh at the thought of some unknown corner for the Pats making the interception that cost the Seahawks the game. Poetic jusice to that loud mouth Sherman. The scrum/melee near the end was entertaining.

Halftime show was one of the better ones I've seen. Not a fan of KP, but the stage/sets were cool. especially the chess board and then the sharks & beachballs that were clearly baked.

Good Super Bowl, crappy ending. Seeing stupid Tom Brady smiling and throwing his hands up reminded me of '92 Duke. Shudder.

Stayed in last night. Solid choice.

Why can't all championship games end at 10:00? It was nice watching the end of a big event with my oldest boy (even if he was for the Pats ...)

Nice snow. Weather forecasters are taking a beating this winter.

I ate my weight in sausage and took THREE naps yesterday.

I napped during the Puppy Bowl AND the Super Bowl.

Yesterday was a good day. I don't know what today is about.

Touch McDonald's. I stop by this morning on my way to the office, as per usual, and order a McGriddle with cheese and a large Coke, once again, as per usual.

"That'll be $4.97." I snapped. "What the hell? Yesterday that same order was $4.55. You just charged the guy in front of me a GD smile[/I], but you charge me[/I] 42 cents more (quick calculations of simple math are a forte) in less than 24 hours???"

"Well sir, somebody[/I] has to pay for all these smiles and hugs."

Well isn't this just great -- apparently Lyles has an incurable infection from a highly contagious, heretofore unknown, genetically engineered Level 4 MRSA/Yersinia/Ebola[/I] chimera.

I love how some of our fans are so quick to jump to conclusions. That said, I hope they find a bone marrow match.

I'm in the registry, maybe I'll get the chance to be a part of a championship.

BTW, excellent Card Sharks reference in the workout thread

Me too, my friend. My problem is that I'm taking so many meds, my blood marrow is probably more suited for a cyborg or alien than actual humans.

Blu, about the only thing sexier than nice boobs is another girl talking about nice boobs.

Fantastic link.

Didn't pay attention to a lot of the commercials. Most seemed like tired jokes or too serious. Was there some sort of dad campaign this year? Seemed like a lot of dad commercials.

First things first...

Free Willy!
Save Trey![/B]

OK...onward...

...with the exception of two or three of them, the SB commercials were pretty much the worst commercials i have ever seen. And they cost $4.5 million each.

...commercials i did like:
100yr old Dodge commercial w/ the old people giving advice
esurance w/ Walter White
Tough Dodge - the one where people were throwing dodge balls at the triathlon competitors (this was my favorite)

That's it...that's the list.

...LEK...a ton of bad advice in the D. Kudos for ignoring it and buying the FF tickets. You can go to the SEC Tourney any ol' year and there's a damn good chance we will win it. Can't always say that about the Big Dance. And this is one of those years that we have about the best shot possible. And you are right...you can always sell them if you have to.

...more later...

Blue...prayers for your GF. Glad she is OK.

Blu...can't get a good read on you, my friend. Just when i think you are "one of the guys" i offend you with what was meant as a harmless joke. Then you go All-Star D-League on us and talk about bodacious tatas and post pics of a hot chica. I like that about you though. Keeps me on my toes. Keep on keepin' on...

Blues...got 3 family members dealing with tough times. All 3 are very different situations but all 3 are rather devastating in nature. Not gonna go into details here but my head is spinning and my bank account is thinning.

Music...Mali Music's latest album, "Mali Is..." is pretty good. Not for everyone as he wears his faith on his sleeve...but i dig it. Also been listening to Liam Bailey's latest album "Definitely Now". Good album. Most of it is pretty mellow. His guitar solos are stellar on the up tempo tracks but far too infrequent and way too low in the mix for my usual musical taste. Bugs me. But something keeps drawing me in.

Food...Took the wife out to eat at Ramsi's Cafe on the World the other night over on Bardstown Rd. in Metro. Used to eat there all the time years ago but haven't been in a while. As per usual though...it didn't disappoint...

Appetizer: Italian Antipasto Festival (grilled shrimp, grilled onions, grilled squash and portobellos w/ grilled baguette)
Entree: Ribs of the Caribbean[/I]...smoked pork ribs with a mango sauce served with grilled Z-potatoes.
Tasty Beverage (to wash it all down): a couple of Schnedier Aventinus German beers.
Desert: (this space purposely left blank...well, with the exception of the stuff typed in between the parentheses)

And it was spectacularly delicious.
