D1 Baseball Top 25

[MSUDC11]

This is the most reputable and reliable college baseball ranking. We start the year at No. 10. Six of the seven teams in the West are ranked:

7-Arkansas
8-Auburn
10-MSU
11-LSU
20-A&M
25-Ole Miss

We are a little bit fortunate on the East side of things, three East teams in the Top 5 and we only play one of them (No. 2 Vandy, on the road though).

Also of note, Oregon State (who we play in Week 2) is surprisingly unranked, but Texas Tech (2 games against them in Biloxi) is No. 6. Also found it interesting that the young Miami team whose season we ended last year is No. 3 in the first poll.

First pitch is one month from tomorrow. Bring it on.

I'm a little surprised Ole Miss started in the top 25 but everything else looks about right.

I honestly am, too. They should be pretty good on the mound, but the lineup has some major question marks.

Preseason baseball polls are historically terrible, though.

I don't see the love for AU but let the Arkansas sh*t talking start
