Dabo going scorched earth on officiating

Targeting is definitely the exception. Who knows what targeting is. I say let them take steroids, target, hip drop, etc. may be more exciting.

I'm not suggesting challenges. Just review. Besides, college is not obliged to follow NFL precedent.

Can you offer a rationale that explains wanting to get calls right except for penalties?

The precedent is already there in college b/c they always review targeting. That makes it even more absurd that other penalties aren't reviewable.
"We need instant replay because it's vital that we 'get it right'! But we're not going to review penalties. Well, except for targeting. Otherwise, it's important that we 'get it right'!"
No one gets kicked out of the game for potentially 2 halves over PI

It's hard to take this argument seriously. Our fans genuinely believe the SEC and its officials have it out for us specifically and that every single opponent we face in every single game in every single sport gets favorable calls compared to us. To many in our fan base, we've never lost a game that couldn't be pinned on the refs.
To be fair ... most of the folks we play could be title contenders a lot of years. We generally don't get calls, though... imo anyways

I know we have to be glad they lost, but I like it. Agree with him 100%. It's never made any sense to me that refs are deemed above reproach.

It's funny - I despise him in most ways. But I'm in 100% agreement with his bold takes on this subject and the portal/NIL stuff that he was brave enough to out on the front porch on screaming about.
Now....I do like that it hurt CU ..... but I still agree with his take on it wholeheartedly.

Funniest part about this...who gets MORE calls than Clemson? NOBODY not named Notre Dame. You can maybe put that first NC he won back Bama's pocket if you want to talk about BS calls where the refs run off the field afterwards never to be heard from again. So it does sound like he's slapping the hand that has handed out plenty to him.

Two thoughts on this:
1: He’s 100% right on what he is saying.
2: He’s only saying it to deflect from the fact that they’re losing. If they were winning, he wouldn’t be talking about this. He’s just trying to deflect the conversation from his team to his soundbite.

Dabo is a clown. He's always been a clown. His past success was due to having two really good coordinators, and a couple of really good recruiting classes that stayed together to win a natty. The coordinators are gone. The players are gone, and NIL and the portal has made it harder for Clemson recruiting wise. Other teams can buy players now. All that's left is 100% Dabo clown show.

Enjoy it. It doesn't make Beamers' clown show any better, but gosh I love Clemtech's misery! Long live Dabo!

I realize we have our own issues but this was too funny
