Absolutely. In fact when we started supplementing I could feel the stress relief from WS. Breast feeding is great but nothing wrong with supplementing. Our guy was early and didn't breast feed well either. Formula is sometimes made out to be the damn devil, but he is doing excellent on it, almost 6 months now. Formula probably hurts the moms feelings more than anything else, but there are some great things about it (minus price)
I had a mini panic attack when our last baby (girl) didn't poop for a couple of days. The boys both crapped like they were mainlining bran, so I expected the same. We ended up calling a a nurse friend and she said to pull her legs up to her chest, and check her temp with a rectal thermometer. Looked like a world famous ice cream cone from Rupp. Cutest crap ever.a lack of pee and poops
He will get through it. Breast feeding doesnt predict everything. 30 years ago, bottle feeding was in vogue. Medicine improves, but it also changes.Rarely ever post on here except for a few redass drunken nights in Gyero, but thought I would share a little bit.
My wife and I had a son on Sat morning. He is the greatest little thing ever, but nothing has come easy with him yet. For the most part he is a healthy little boy and we were able to bring him home late last night. His biggest problem right now seems to be jaundice and a lack of pee and poops over the last twenty four hours. He is not doing to great breast feeding, which is causing added stress on all three of us. It looks as if we are going to have to supplement some formula until we can control his movements and jaundice. As an added bonus they sent us home with a billy blanket that he has to wear on his back to help control the jaundice through phototherapy,
Anyways just wanted to say that bringing the child into the world has made me the happiest man and most exhausted I have ever been in my life. Can't wait to get this little guy healthy and playing more.
I love watching my kids play, but I breathed a little sigh of relief when our middle son decided to not play baseball this Spring (Southwest - 4 days a week, probably, plus 'all stars') and do Flag Football (2 days). He'll probably miss it, but we let him decide.Sunday March 20th. Possibility of 6-9 games, spread across 3 kids. Impossible.
Enjoy the younger younger years.
Coming into that age....6yo son refused to play anything for up until 10 months or so ago and now he would play sports all/air. Starting to see the craziness even with 2 days a week for him and one for 4yo it's a lot with my work/hen's carpooling. Can't imagine with the crap older kids do.I love watching my kids play, but I breathed a little sigh of relief when our middle son decided to not play baseball this Spring (Southwest - 4 days a week, probably, plus 'all stars') and do Flag Football (2 days). if baby doesn't pop out, wife is being induced on the 17th. Will be joining this exclusive club soon, gentlemen.

kids are gross.
We induced and had no issues.Hope It pops out before coming to that. Our inducing experience sucked - when they aren't ready, they aren't ready!
How close to due date? If within a few days probably usually no big deal, if 3 wks out, good luck.We induced and had no issues.

Speaking of flag football.....so my 6yo is obsessed with football and his been geeked out of his mind for flag this fall, told him I'd stripe the backyard for a field this summer to play flag with his friends and he almost passed out. That said, come to find out his school team for 1-2nd graders is tackle....I mean, cmon man. Basically just a team in a city league of 1st/2nd graders....this is absurd, yes?
I love football and whatnot and would allow my kids to play if they wanted but isn't that a little weird or is this accepted? My kids are on the small side per my Hen's genes, I have a hard time imagining kids being able to hold their heads up. On the flipside a quick google search showed kids at that age just running around like cats as per every other sport at that age, not Von checking fools across the middle.
Anyone had experiences?
PS - please no FOOTBALL IS GREAT / FOOTBALL IS THE DEVIL answers, this is the trust tree of Dadyero
