I was combing my son's hair this morning before school trying to get the part right..."Why can't we let my hair just do its thing." "One day when you weren't here I fixed it by myself and I looked gooood!"
Does your wives not handle the grocery? Maybe I'm old school here but it seems to me if you're the one cooking then you should be the one getting the groceries too!
Don't let her steal your joy.My wife orders the groceries from click list on Tuesday and picks them up Thursday when she gets off work. But back when we did it the old way I would do the physical grocery shopping and I actually enjoyed it. Put in some headphones and just relaxed
Some of us have wives who work 40+ hours a week so duties are shared.
My second kid has done everything earlier than my first. It's all about keeping up with the older kid, I think.Anyone that has two kids: Did you second child start walking well before the first?
My son started walking just after his 1st birthday. My daughter was 9 months. She basically skipped crawling all together. I think it has to do with her emulating everything her big brother was doing at the time.
She never liked some of god awful cartoons my oldest watched either. No Backyardigans, Thomas the Train, or the F'n Doodlebops. Which is great....and sad at the same time.
Did you get that orange abortion of a bat that all the kids in copper braided necklaces have?Is buying a baseball bat for Little League as much of "wallet rape" as anything else on this planet?
Good grief. If you haven't crossed that bridge yet because your kid is too young, start saving now. $$$$

I never gave in and got one for my boy (bad parent, IMO) and after looking at the prices, I see I made a good choice. He decided to play flag football anyway.Shoot, those are so 2 years ago. Better be getting the green Mako Torq nowadays.

Good luck with the all-stars, Brax (even though I never know if you are being serious). I think our coaches vote on it this weekend.
Hand-to-God, he wears his like that, upside down on top of his flat bill. He also wears an under armour headband and batting gloves. He's a total dbag.If he has a pair of these on top of a flat bill cap, then I think the legally have to take him. Your league might be different.

Lol, I am being serious. I wouldn't really care much but baseball has become his life. It's the first "activity" he's ever really loved, so he really wants to make the team. He's worried the coaches will laugh at him if he doesn't make it, which of course wouldn't happen, but the fact that he's that stressed makes me stressed. I think he has a good chance. He's a lefty and can absolutely murk the ball. And he's a good little fielder too. Super fast. One of the AS coaches approached me after a game and asked me to bring him to tryouts. Little man was turbo stoked. Just don't want to imagine how crushed he'd be if he didn't make it. We'll see.
