the concept of putting touch on his passes. I saw several examples of Dak putting a bunch of air under the ball and letting his guy go get it with the defender having no shot. That is a concept Relf struggles withthat prevents him from connecting on alot of long throws; even Russell struggles with it, just not as bad as Relf. I am excited about this guy, he looks like a true QB.

that I've seen us recruit that looks like he can actually read the defensive coverages. Very impressed with this Dak now I see why TCU and LSU wanted him..

Don't get me wrong, I think he looks like a really good QB prospect and I'm glad we have him. But on more than a few of those throws, it looks like he just threw it up for grabs and his WR made a play. I think some of those throws would have been broken up or even intercepted against better DBs.

But, I think he's got a bright future and I'm looking forward to seeing him in maroon.

with what i saw. some of the receivers look like they have some talent. anybody know if any of them are being recruited by anyone?

its hard enough getting the back-up playing time, much less a 3rd or a 4th QB

Looks to read the defense pre-snap very well. If you have to find a negative it would be that he looks like he locks on to who he wants to throw it to. The few plays he looked off recievers it appeared to be by design. Could be wrong.But nothing coach cant work on with him as i would guess is the case with all hs qb's. Great talent though, appears to be the perfect fit for our offense.</p>
