Its a great time to be a bulldog! Typically, as soon as the bigger program steps in,we would lose a recruit like this. Therefore, these bigger programs just assume they are going to get whoever they want when it pertains to a recruit who may also be interested in us.Your friend says he is a "strong lean". He obviously made this **** up just because he "assumed" they were getting this guy over poor little ol' state.

OM feels they've always gotten SP players over State in the past that they wanted (well minus Pegues) so they just assume that with this much time left until signing day it will happen again.
Unless his friend is Dandy Don. He's been telling his sheep that Dak was a strong LSU lean since his visit last weekend. They believe everything he says.</p>
is this guy really as good as everyone on here thinks? i hope so, but according to rivals he is only a 3 star and other that us and LSU, he is looking at La Tech, Memphis, and North Texas?? why are the big boys other than LSU not looking at him? just my thoughts
Mullen has proven he can recruit, and that he knows what he is doing. Mullen is a talent evaluator, and that is one of the benefits of us getting a coach that got to be around so much talent at Florida. It makes it a lot easier to see some intangibles that a guy has, especially some of these guys from smaller MS schools.They don't always get looks from big schools,sohaving someone like Mullen who can take 2 stars that may beprojectsand mold them into whatour team needs is huge.
This kid is legit. I've had people around Baton Rouge asking me how we got this kid to commit and saying it was a steal for us. He had a great Senior season and LSU caught wind to late in the process to snag him. From what the local sports guys have said, Miles only went after him late because he didn't want him playing QB at MSU. Damage control recruiting and Dak saw through this. They already have the top JUCO QB and 5 Star Steven Rivers.
What I am waiting to see, is if Dak will bump up to a 4 star after these so called "bigger names" have offered him.

Dak Prescott just made an announcement via Facebook. He is officially a Missisippi State Bulldog. This is a huge pick-up for the Dawgs considering the attention that he has received from LSU and TCU over the past few weeks. He will be a great addition to the team.
Never looked him up but the local sports guys have said he's a 5 star, but I don't know where they got that. They also have said he's one of the best HS QB's in the country. Apparently false info also. They say a lot of things that are probably untrue. They like to talk out of their asses.
