You aren't completely wrong. I religiously wear it in school when I work around the kids/co-workers as well as in grocery stores, Lowes etc. I remove mine when eating at restaurants or drinking a beer at a sports bar. Suppose that is a risk and I have probably just been lucky to have not contracted it yet but we made a point of leaving a chair distance between us. 99 percent of everything I have done with friends/family has been outdoors or in a garage with doors open since this started. So have you worn one under the same conditions you laid out? Worn around every living soul you come in contact with? The only way to ensure not to catch it is live in total isolation. Or we can continue to live like we have throughout mankind’s long history and beat another virus like the millions before it. I personally refuse to live in constant fear.
I have probably been lucky not to catch it....but some of it has been my taking it serious from the start as well.
If more were taking even the smallest measures since this started, we might not be losing 2K Americans a day right now. That said, I get your point as well.
