There are a lot of folks on this board that are high on him for whatever reason, but I still haven't seen it. He made a great run against Arkansas last year to save us from disaster, but that's about all I can say for him. He's been underwhelming ever since then

He made the game winning TD against Arkansas and didn't lose to UM. And by didn't lose, I mean he didn't 17 up bad enough to give them points while our defense continued to bail us out. Nothing else he's done has shown me he is a sec qb. Hopefully Mullen now sees this and we give Dak the reps he needs to get ready for LSU to embarrass us.

Probably because he doesn't want Dak to get hurt playing in a non-conference game early in the season. Dak's only been playing enough to win the game so far. But I don't know why he's been taken after the first two games after opening possession touchdowns. That seems a little too soon to me.

This^^^^. Damian looks more comfortable running the football. Let them run the ball and try to get him some rhythm before trying to let him throw. Get him moving forward for positive yardage and then work on expanding his game.
