I don't blame him one bit. If we wanna land recruits like him, we gotta win first. But we need a coach that can win. He's looking pretty freaking smart right now.

He still was very unprofessional about the way he handled his announcement.

All in all it was probably the right decision for him to make.

For a top shelf athlete.....Choosing a college is like choosing a good long-term investment. We're not a good investment for good players right now....players don't appear to improve/develop their strength & skills, and we don't win.

Ask yourself honestly, if your son was good enough to play at one of the middle of the pack SEC schools and "maybe" get a look at the next level, where would you advise him to attend/play?

Until we start winning consistently, we should expect our best instate athletes to pick the Alabamas and Ohio States, especially if they are being recruited by them.
