Any news on this guy? I keep hearing about Carmon to LT but is there any chance Robinson can contend for the starting spot?

I mean lets be honest. Since the start of December the staff has signed a JUCO LT and moved a back up DT to LT. Doesn't sound like the Staff felt like he'd play there.

I've always heard Robinson was going to be Guard for us.

Robinson might bea guard but it might be that it is easier to play guard than tackle. Might not be a knock on Robinson. Not very many Freshmen play very well in the SEC at such an important position.</p>

that we have an abundance of linemen that are developing. They have the size... under Balis, they have the conditioning and strength.... and under our coach Hevesey, they will have the knowledge and develop the physical play. I just like the setup we have. Any offensive linemen would love coming to MSU to play with this setup.

Trapp will be a G/C for us. I'm pretty sure Robinson got a lot of work at LT during the bowl practices. Clausell is a guy who will have had a spring, redshirt year and bowl practices to get ready for some playing time. I think he will have some say in all of this.

We should have a good competition from Carmon (whom the coaches certainly talked up), Robinson and Clausell.

Not to discount the value of a good left tackle, but this isn't a pro style offense where our QB will be taking seven-step drops and setting himself up for a huge blindside hit. Mullen/Hevesy will have us in good shape. I'm more concerned on how this will affect running than passing.

Brignone to develope into the type of player that he was his last 2 years and I can remember how a bunch of bad snaps hurt us in several games before he fully developed
