It's like the little kid who always get picked last on the playground. It's rather comical seeing their "hey look at me too!!!11!1!" type promotion they're trying for.
Even their first one in response to ours that had Davis with a few of the other players looked poor in design.<div>

They need to do whatever they can to market their program. It's a little silly to focus on trying to one up State or Ole Miss though. They just need to prove their worth to any conference better than the CONFUSA/Mtn West amalgamation. They are getting totally ignored in all this conference expansion maneuvering.
But I guess that's what happens when you send 70 fans to a bowl game. Granted it's pretty impressive that each fan got 6 friends to go with them.

The implication of the billboard is that USM is where the best athletes in Mississippi play college sports. I find this amusing since the athletes those trophies are named after went to Ole Miss and Mississippi State - the very same schools they are trying to jab.

The crocodile tears in Oxford that brought about the search for the bylaw for the MSU billboard should apply to this one too. Lets see if anything is said about it since neither USM or MSU is UM's rivals.
