was getting post traumatic stress disorder from seeing him after giving LenDale the ball instead of Reggie Bush in the Vince Young Championship game and decided it would be much better on him to go ahread and cut him instead of suffering from flashbacks. Not converting there probably cost them the game because they could not stop Vince Young. Not that that was totally LenDale's fault- you have to give a lot of that to the o-line on that particular play. Still, I wonder to this day why Reggie was not even in the formation somewhere- even at WR. I have to believe that just having Bush out there as a decoy would force the defense to keep an eye on him even in a short yardage situation. Oh well.

As much of a good coach, recruiter, motivator (and cheater according to some) that Carroll is, he definitely pulled a Croom-esqe brain fart on that one.
