She did her homework very well. Points were good and timely. Didn't try to say too much.

Will be happy to see her on another broadcast.

You could tell she knows the game - and you are right - she definitely did her homework.

She definitely did her homework, and made for a good broadcast. I hope she continues to docommentary for ESPN. Iusually don't like women broadcasters because they usually try to overcompensate to prove they know just as much as their male counterparts, but she did none of that. Great job by her.

"There are players that want to be good and those that want to be told that they are good. He is the latter."

There is a lot of truthto that statement.

I didn't know she was going to be on tonight and when I heard her the first time, I asked the wife if they had a 13 year old color analyst on, then I realized it was her. She did fine. knowledgeable and well spoken. Some second chair guys are a pain to listen to. I won't complain the next time they send her to Starkville.

I'm glad you posted this. I totally agree. She analyzed the game as it went on as well as the broader topic of the respective teams. Not my type in the looks area but she's not bad I'm sure for those that want the athletic ladies with good style. Really enjoyed the broadcast.

I even rewound a couple times to listen to her again on a couple plays. Like her call of Dee Bost picking off that pass and she described as the DB showing the open lane then jumping the pass for the easy pick. She's good.

I should punch myself in the face instead of typing this......

But do you seriously not know the difference between "won't" and "want"?

"won't" = "will not"

Although I must admit I did not "here" her say this......

We got home late, switched on the TV with about 12 minutes to go, heard the female announcers voice and thought "this is gonna be tough to listen to". A couple of minutes later my son said "she is pretty good". I was expecting something like Pam Ward, but Kara was knowledgeable, insightful and pleasant to listen to. She may have a future.

which would not necessarily matter your post inaccurate, but doesn't appear that she would participate.

Yes, she did a great job doing the game last night, and she knows the game, and seems nice enough.<div>
</div><div>But I looked her up ... she's built like a man (huge muscles), weighs 169, and is 5'9". That's not too many guys' idea of "good looking" ....</div>

Can't believe there has been no mention of her coming into the hump and literally taking over games when she was playing! Everybody on here must be in their 20s! She was a hell of a player for Pat Summitt.

Sorry - missed that. Haven't logged on since yesterday morning. Too busy with football and snow shoveling. Thanks, and I look forward to reading on down the page.
