Man... kudos to them... that's nothing less than amazing... and even then I don't think that's sufficient enough to describe that.

umm, thats amazing. I can only hope that our stadium addition will be as advanced as that facility is. That is advanced.

is it all funded yet? Sounds like they are still shilling for some cash to help out.

I would be willing to bet that about half to 2/3 of that actually gets built.

But it's still damn impressive.

Yeah, but where's the yoga or pilates room?
Will the players get to assimilate with any other students? They had everything there except rooms.

"Multi-Leveled, ThunderDome of POWER" for a weight room. How will anyone be able to compete with these mutants?

Anybody else have a problem with public universities having athletics facilities that rival or surpass pro football facilities?

Yes I know this **** is funded with private money and/or athletic-generated money. I still have a problem with so much excess in a public university.

Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio State, etc. Part of their notoriety is due to their athletics, and thus they take care of those interests accordingly.

But I can deal with it to an extent when you understand just how much revenue is gained from athletics. You got to spend money to get money. If in the end this helps them get more money from athletics, then it just makes sense..

and itdoesn't matter if it was UT's or MSU's logo on this facility, but I can't look at something like this and at least wonder whether our priorities are in line with our needs in society. Same thing when I look at the Cowboy's new stadium. Willrefrain from further commentary due to the politcal direction this idea will inevitablyturn.

My thoughts exactly. Not like we need some law or regulation against this. It is simply misplaced priorities.

cuz I dont think theres any way we could pay for something like that
I believethe narrator stated that the cost of the facility is $145,000,000. It is so over the top that it looks likea spoof. To me this demonstrates howout of focus our priorities have become. The University of Tennessee academicians should rise up in arms over the absurd waste of money.
