Lexington Lee's closed down right before pay day. Workers didn't have a clue. But the worst part is no more honey-dipped fried goodness in Lexington. Just one more reason to move to Richmond, tbh.

Lee's is undoubtedly the most disrespected chicken in the game.

OK, so you might get airboirne AIDS through the drive thru speaker. So they don't give you a drink with the combo. So the eff what. It's top 3 fast food chicken and people need to start accepting it or go be a little burger ***** at McDonald's or some such.

Lee's, this is what you get for not paying homage to the NASHVILLE HOT CHICKEN GODS. Every chicken place in Lex is mandated to have HOT CHICKEN, now you're gone forever.

F "hot chicken", ftr. It is neither good or new. Buffalo chicken has been a thing forever, and it's better than whatever "hot chicken" is. Such an insult to anybody with a lick of poultry sense.

Hey Krazykat, ever thought about opening up a Lee's franchise?

The ones in Elizabethtown are all closed now too. I believe Radcliff and Hodgenville still have one open though.

We found a place in Vernon, NJ that does honey-dipped fried chicken, we hit it up yesterday on our way back from NYC. Can't think of any places in the Albany,NY area that does chicken livers/gizzards, usually ended up making them myself.

During the Summer when school was out I use to frequent a local Lee's Famous Recipe. I loved their extra crispy chicken. It was about 10 minutes max walking distance from my house.

My mom would leave me like $2 and I think I could get 2 wings and a biscuit for that. It was back in the late 80's. Those were the days. Sitting back and watching reruns of The Incredible Hulk while eating my extra crispy chicken.

I haven't been back since (don't live very close to one anymore). Did they ever change their chicken recipe the last 30 years? If not I might have to make a special trip to the one in Louisville that I went to before it's gone (if not already to late). One more taste of that extra crispy chicken goodness before it goes extinct like the dodo bird.

Typical BrandonBurned.

Lee's recipe is not famous. At all.

And yet here you are in the thread talking about it. Must be somewhat famous.

You'd also think a purported chicken man wouldn't be gloating about any part of the chicken game getting hit. Kind of shows it's all about dk's awful taste and not the big picture

Garbage places like Lee's, Bojangles, Church's, and Zaxby's given chicken a bad name. As caretaker, I look out for what's best for the chickens.

KFC isn't even worthy of mention, please.

Sandwiches/Breakfast: CFA (I'll accept Wendy's Spicy)
Real Chicken: Popeyes
Tenders (if you're a woman or have children): Cane's

As far as chains go, Pretty much everywhere else can get pumped & should try cow foods.
