Craig James: "If Cam Newton had gone to Mississippi State, what do you think their record would be?"

Reese Davis: "I think they'd be playing Oregon for the National Championship"

Screw you Cecil.

They were giving the Bulldogs a lot of love in that discussion. (Where would be be if Mike Slive had even half of that level of enthusiasm for us?)

We are going to embarrass Michigan. Manny will contain them and even our schizophrenic offense will get through their porous defense.

Can't wait!

One day we might break loose with some luck. For now lets make this season historical and finish our work in Jacksonville and have a season where we can say we beat Georgia, Florida and Michigan

I couldn't believe where that segment went. Especially after Craig almost called us "Michigan State" at the start. It says a lot about where this program is going when they are singing our praises, especially Mullen's praises. Boy, I hope we can keep him for another 3 yrs at the least.
Best part is that if any recruits were watching that, how can they NOT be buying into State now? That was a hell of a lot of love.

Our offense does not have psychotic breaks that include hallucinations and/or deluions. You probably meant some type of Dissociative Identity Disorder which includes multiple personalities. Not that I agree with that assessment. Ouroffensehas a pretty clear identity in my opinion.

had gotten Cam, and IF we had gone undefeated, I'm not so sure we wouldn't have been left out...2004 Auburn style.

Cecil's illegal act changed the face of this entire football season...and the rules are meant to ensure that doesn't happen due to illegal acts by a player or an agent of a player (which would be cecil in this case). 17 you cecil. lets get 17UCECIL trending on twitter. not really.

Point made. I do think they settled into an identity as the season progressed, so I will walk back that part of my previous statement.

Didn't check the def on schizo - always heard it (mis)used, apparently, in colloquial reference to multiple personalities. Thanks for the heads up on the strict meaning!

let's just say that I have more than a little experience in the world of mental health. The rapant misuse of this particular word is a pet peeve of mine. I need to chill out about this. I am hoping that Big Freddy, my more laid back personality, will emerge soon.
