There was clearly 1 second left on the clock when the pass hit the ground.

Weis managed to f up this game. They had the ball inside the 10 with 30 seconds left and managed to run one play before the clock hit 9 seconds. Horrible.

He shoved Clausen down way after he threw it. No question that's a penalty. Maybe it's soft, but it's the rule. You touch the QB after he throws it, and you're gonna get flagged every time.

Or the "hit out of bounds" Taylor Mays made, when replay showed that the ND running back was still in bounds (ended in a ND TD)
Or the celebration call on the sack that would have ended a Notre Dame drive (drive ended in a ND TD)
Or the roughing the passer call on the last drive?

Notre Dame would have lost by a lot more if it weren't for bad officiating.

that the Irish are protected, and it seemed to be showing in the refs calls.

Yes, I'm a little biased, and think they are given too much.

I do think the roughing the passer was out of line.

We couldn't tell.

It's ok if you hate ND, but don't make up ****.

If the Irish are protected by anyone, they are doing a ****** job of it, since ND has sucked *** for the better part of a decade.
