I would expect the Big 10 to be quite vocal on any SEC recruiting violations, big or small. Their coaches don't have to abide by the rule that everything has to go through the SEC office.
I never did like Meyer all that much, and I don't think he liked or likes the SEC all that much. I have to question whether he was really ill or not when he left Florida ... I kinda think he always wanted to be a Big 10 coach.
I've always thought that something like this is where it's going to come apart for the Slive SEC. One day a cross-conference school is going to get pissed off about something going on with a recruit they are going head-to-head over and Slive won't be able to smooth it over.
I agree. As inept as the NCAA is at enforcement, there are only two ways for them to handle a situation like that. Complete blind eye or get down and dirty.
