<h2 class="subhead"><font size="3">"Last Interception Pool</font></h2><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">The Dash got the LIP off to a late start this year; the field of top 100 pass efficiency quarterbacks without a pick is already down to just two: Baylor's</span> Robert Griffin (16) <span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">and Mississippi State's</span> <span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Tyson Lee</span> (17)<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">.</span>

Griffin has thrown 104 passes without an interception to date. Lee has thrown 71. Operators are standing by to take your votes on which one will last longer without throwing one to the wrong-colored jersey.

The amazing thing about both is that they've never thrown an NCAA interception. They're both rookies at this level: Griffin is a true freshman and Lee is a junior college transfer."</p>
Now, we all know how he's going to play against Vandy! Damn you Pat Forde & WWL!!

But, kudos to Pat for calling out Croom & Woody in the same article..

"Woody McCorvey (31), Mississippi State. Head coach Sylvester Croom has resolutely -- at times defiantly -- stuck by McCorvey through years of fan criticism. Now, with the league's lowest-scoring offense and no victories against FBS competition, Croom's clout with first-year athletic director Greg Byrne could be tested if Croom wants to retain McCorvey for a sixth season. State hasn't had a single 40-point game since 2002, by far the longest streak in the league."

That should tell you something about what your doing on offense. Hell, I could dust off the old nintendo and run some tecmo bowl plays and get 40 on SELA or Maine or Jacksonville State.

simply floored. 40 points is not that hard to achieve in today's football world. Especially when you have played the likes of:

Maine
UAB
Tulane
Murray State
Houston
Jacksonville State
Gardner Freakin Webb

that guy is a sick athlete. Carroll is a joke, Lee is a joke and Relf is an idiot apparently. I will never for get the animosity some of us faced before the season for saying the Carroll wasn't an SEC QB. Truth hurts huh?

While scoring 40 points would be nice, I would take 7 - 10 wins a year if we won every game 14-7.

I kept wondering, did these people even SEE the Mississippi and Central Florida games? Hell, even the one "good" game he did have he screwed it up by throwing 4 picks.

In 52 Croom-coached games, we've been held to single digits 13 times (that's 1 out of every 4 games).

Also, we've been shut out 6 times (that's better than 10% of the time).

Shocking.

I don't think we have reached a total of 40 points in any of the Crooms era spring games, and surely at least one or two of then were shutouts.

It's harder to achieve when most of that pathetic list of powerhouses beats you. Thanks for depressing me even more.

It seems like baseball has a better chance at putting up 40+ than our football does while Crxxm is under the helm. Those stats and schools listed are horrendous.</p>

which I would consider comparable to Mississippi, in terms of high school talent, is AVERAGING over 53 points a game so far this season. AVERAGING over 53 points. That is unreal.

doesn't have two other D-I schools that they directly compete with. They also have two large urban areas to draw from- St. Louis and Kansas City.

Mizzou has actually underachieved for years.

Like QB - Daniel has 15 TDs and 1 INT and comp% over 76%, and Snead has 18 TDs, 18 INTs and comp% around 55%.

If Mizzou beats Oklahoma St. and Texas, they move up to #2 or #1 (if Texas beats Oklahoma this weekend).</p>
