Will Razorbacks be significantly better this fall and will qualify for a bowl. With some luck, they could be one of the most improved teams in '09.

There are several reasons to be optimistic.</p>

• The Razorbacks obviously got better in the second half of their first season under coach Bobby Petrino. Yes, they went 2-4 in the second half and <span style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline;">lost to Mississippi State</span>. But one of the wins was over LSU. Plus, they started the season squeezing past Western Illinois and Louisiana-Monroe, then getting blown out by Alabama, Texas and Florida. Three of the four losses in the second half of the season were by three points or less. And 17 starters return.

we were a joke. The media knew it too, that's why they harped on us. Actions, not words. Half the interviews people did with Croom, they were subtley just screwing with him. I am easily guilty myself of pulling wool over my eyes all this time because basically I just wanted to win and take the path of least resistance to get there.

If this came from an Arkansas outlet, pay no attention to their references to us. In their minds, they are better than the "Mississippi schools" in everything. We (OM and State) are not even important enough to them to distinguish between the two most of the time.

that "in their mind" they know better. They know they aren't better than anyone. So they say and write **** to make it seem that way. Ole Miss does it to us. Alabama does it to Auburn. It doesn't matter, it goes on everywhere like you said. Bottom line is, that's the way they WANT it to be. I'm the same way, I'd love to be dominant over the rest of the SEC. But the way you establish that is winning not talking jibberish from media guys. You command respect, not demand it.
