I use the term losely, because it was really Eric talking on his cell phone and the rest of the people listening to the coach/teacher... Lol! He would at least kick the ball back onto the field whenever it came close to him...

I can't imagine how long the power cord must have been.

into rebuilding old classics and muscle cars. Very modest home, and doesn't have all of the bling that alot of the pro athletes like to show off. I know this because a family friend manages his money/assets for him. ED deserves to be honored by MSU in a big way, just by the way he has represented himself and the university, quality individual.

Does your family friend discuss with you the net worth of all of his clients? I thought there were regs against that.

was that he was going to give money but LT wouldn't retire his jersey. Now that we officially retire jerseys, we'll see.

Its always gotten to me that someone would offer up money to have his jersey retired. Buying such an honor just seems to violate the last sacred thing in college sports/basketball.

...of course im sure it goes on elsewhere already.

If he wants to donate money, then friggin donate it. Donating it only if your jersey is retired means you arent donating it, you are buying something with it.

he wanted his number and Bailey Howell's number.

Bottom line, it's well deserved. I think their NBA success dictates Howell, Dampier, and Jeff Malone's jerseys should be up there.
