I think a lot of people, like myself, had a wait and see attitude. I was never reckless, but I probably did ring during a big 3rd down conversion during the UGA game. Alot of casual but not reckless attitudes towards the new rule adds up pretty quickly. I think more people will understand, hopefully after a good lecturing from Stricklin and Mullen, that this stupid rule is for real and has legit consequences. We can still show significant improvement. Now, the SEC may not give a damn - that I won't argue. But, to give in now and say "17 it" is the wrong attitude to have.
