6 bowl appearances in 13 seasons, although it would have been 7 or 8 in 13 seasons with the current bowl arrangement (the 7-4 and probably the 5-6 teams would have gone to bowls). That
, btw, would have also resulted in 5 straight bowl seasons (96-2000).

Still, Mullen has taken us to 2 in 3 years with more difficult schedules and nearly everyone is predicting another in 2012, which would be 3 in a row.
