Dan Le Batard's HOF vote

I don't have a problem with it. His vote became a fan vote. Fans should have at least one vote (it's such a small percentage of the total number of votes).
PTI lit him up yesterday. However, it's less stupid than refusing to vote for anyone, and since he checked the ballot and "approved" the choices, I don't know if there's an issue. His ballot wasn't ridiculous or anything looking it over, except maybe Edgar Martinez.

When there's 571 voters, one guy giving his vote up as a fan vote didn't really make an impact. I see nothing wrong with him doing it. And the ballot that was turned in was a good one. I just hate the 10-man limit. That's the reason Biggio didn't make it in this year
I don't have a problem with handing it over for fans to vote. But he sold it, did not hand it over. That's the only problem I have with it.

I disagree. I think the 10-man limit is too low. It should be somewhere around 12-15
People are mad at this guy for turning in prob the most unbiased ballot of the last couple years yet the bbwaa is cool with defending people who voted to Jt snow. And people who didn't vote for Greg Maddux. Like I've said before the HOF doesn't mean much to me anymore. It's like the rock n roll HOF as far I'm concerned.

100% agree. But Craig Biggio, Mike Piazza, Tim Raines, and Alan Trammell were not just "pretty good." Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens were not just "pretty good." The backlog of guys on the ballot hurts those guys, as we saw with Biggio falling 2 votes shy of going in this year. And it'll still be a problem with next year's locks being Biggio, Pedro Martinez, Randy Johnson, and John Smoltz. That leaves only six spots for about 8-10 guys that should be voted for.

So he can't see his hometown Marlins for free anymore? Way to teach that guy a lesson!
