I was glad to see that. It feels personal somehow. If feels like Mullen fully understands that the fans are out-performing the team and we feel let down about that. And he's dead serious to win a bunch of games for us.

To the fans and everybody in Bulldog Nation, I'm sorry. I'm extremely sorry. We were hoping for an undefeated season. That was my goal, something Mississippi State has never done here.

I promise you one thing, a lot of good will come out of this. You will never see any coach in the entire country work as hard as I will work the rest of the season. You will never see someone push the team as hard as I will push everybody the rest of the season.

You will never see a team play harder than we will the rest of the season. God bless.
