Bend but don't break on defense, steady dose of the running game, and mix in a few passes to keep the defense honest. With thetalent we have on the team, that is how you win at MSU right now. Besides that HB pass, I thought the offensive playcalling was exceptional. Great job by Mullen tonight.

..I get it why Mullen loves that play: He could run that with Tim Tebow @ QB & it usually resulted in embarrassing the hell out of the other team.

But unless I'm missing something, there are no Tim Tebows on this current MSU roster.

That's one of my favorite things about him: he owns his crap and tries to correct it and usually does not blame others for his mistakes. That is a good life lesson for these players.

You might could say "Mullen learned how to win with Relf at QB tonight" but Relf missed Ballard up the middle again, Bumpis dropped a big 3rd down late in the 3rd quarter, and Berry dropped a deep ball on the sidelines.

We can win 7 games if our team starts to make those plays.

Thought our pass protection was better tonight.

It also helps if the running back can throw worth a damn. Clearly Perkins cannot. Maybe Bumphis could've probably completed that one. Also, the defender was smart and had that sniffed out before the ball was even thrown.

<font class="Apple-style-span" face="Arial"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;">We would have scored on that drive had we simply ran the damn ball. I was pissed until the game was in hand and was pretty much convinced that we would lose by that margin. </span></font><div><font class="Apple-style-span" face="Arial"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;">
</span></font></div><div><font class="Apple-style-span" face="Arial"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;">And we need to learn to tackle - our D looks good with th exception of fundamental/form tackling. Lock the 17 up. </span></font></div><div><font class="Apple-style-span" face="Arial"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;">
</span></font></div><div><font class="Apple-style-span" face="Arial"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;">Glad to come out with a win. Thought we made good adjustments throughout the game, didn't make killer mistakes down the stretch and fought through for the win.</span></font></div>

Becasue the dead indians like three yards and a cloud of dust. It's their way of pissing off the fans with boring football.

across his body. That's a tough throw for a starting QB, much less a RS Fresh RB.
