...while doing the 7 on 7 drills today, Mullen literally yells in Mark Hudspeth's ear:

"Slow em' down, slow down the receivers! Hud, coach the <17>ing receivers!!! It's what you get paid for!!"

...hilarious. It is so awesome seeing Mullen out there running, teaching the receivers their routes step by step, actually COACHING. Also, the intensity in the punt block drills was very nice. </p>

It's pretty often that coaches start out at a school and promise to have practices open to the public. It usually doesn't last very long. This is why.

Practice has been real fun watching this week. When Mullen ripped off that quote it silenced everyone for a few seconds. Its exciting watching them get into the players ears.

what the hell is going on here? I'm confused.

Sounds like he wanted the routes ran perfectly. Accuracy over speed at this point. Once they learn how to do it correctly, then they can speed it up.

Getting the fundamentals right. Basic football.

Anyway, that's my opinion.

And that is a travesty. Not that Bryne is starting him off like he is.. but that Croom ever got paid that much. The screwups of LT at least are being dropped one by one.

The whole time Croom was here reminds me of a truck stuck still in a mudhole but the driver has the foot on the floor. Lots of noise like we were heading somewhere fast but the ignorance of the driver would never get us out of the hole that was dug. I am sick that Croom added years to the probation with his stupidity and laziness.

LT promised it and put it in writing... Byrne had to honor it. It was one of a couple of FU's that LT finalized on his way out to the curb.

that it was Knox that got chewed by Mullen, not Hud. Either way, glad someone has expectations of his assistants.

No wonder our receivers rounded off their routes so often! A golf cart has a limited turn radius.

...maybe he should have been driving a zero-turn radius lawn mower around instead...

I can't take credit for this comment because I didn't come up with it, but whoever said that our greatest NCAA sanction was hiring Croom as a head coach was dead on.

But I digress... It is so nice to have a coach with some nuts back on the sideline
