Dan Mullen Visibility

I don't know how many of you have noticed, but Dan Mullen is everywhere. Yesterday he was out jogging around campus, and he would stop to talk to anybody that wanted to say a few words. How many people ever saw Croom around campus? I was here for two years and never saw him a single time except on game days, but Mullen is everywhere. It's important to be visible because I believe it builds morale around campus. Anytime people see Mullen on campus they get fired up. I expect to see him out and about more often as we get closer and closer to game day. '41 Champs, <17> the Germans.

Croom there. Those Apple Fritters were amazing and the one thing WE KNOW Croom knew, was food.

Did you really expect to see Croom jogging around? I mean Jesus Christ himself couldn't inspire that man to exercise.

During my time at State, I only saw Croom once, and that was when he nearly ran my *** over with his SUV while I was crossing in a crosswalk.

and i agree it does get the fanbase and student fired up to see him around. Just imagine if he lives up to all the hype we give him. It would be like seeing JoePa on campus

I think campus is going to go nuts but on a side note i ran into the backup kicker DePasquale and started talking to him and he said some of the guys on the team wouldn't be surprised if we did lose to Jackson State

anyone with that mindset of "wouldn't be surprised to Jackson State"
needs to GONE...away from the program.

I'm not buying it..anyone with that mindset would of been run off by Mullen and Balis by now..
maybe they were just trying to be over-nice about JSU and not provide any quotes or such.

is trying to get them to not overlook JSU. We do have a history of doing that before- Maine, Tulane, Northeast Louisiana, Troy, Arkansas State...

then they are just dumb as hell. I don't know a single person that wouldn't be surprised if we lost.

The only jogging Croom did was that waddle from the field house to the sideline. I did see him on his golf cart trying to convince people why Maine was a better team than we were.

with Melichar, Looney and one or two others. They are all fired up and ready to go, there is no doubt about that.

Mullen hasn't lost a crapload of games yet. If he does then I would expect his visibility would diminish over time.

Even so, it is still good to have him doing it and I am so damn glad he isn't on a golf cart heading to Perry instead.

I gave up "surprise" and a "State loss " a long time ago. But if they loose this one, I will sink to new low. The defense should win it and surely we can put ome points on the board.

Dan is everywhere, can't sale tickets if you don't market the product.
Dan and Greg both are very big on exposure and marketing
