Dan Mullen's comments about UF job last night in Jackson

this may be a blitzkrieg, but last night I listened to Dan mention that when it came across the ticker on TV that his name was a possibility for the UF job back in Dec, he said The Ninja called him seven straight times before he answered the phone.....and when he finally answered, greg said he wanted 'answers'....


He made a joke that he was just trying to make Greg sweat a little bit, and that he had no intentions of taking the job even if it were offered to him.....and then went on to say how he and megan like it at msu and planned to be here ......


i thought this was SPS worthy....

Byrne, with Mullen in his sights, outside his house, calls several times. Eventually Mullen picks up.

Mullen: Hey Greg what's up?
Ninja: I want answers on this UF potential opening.
Mullen: What kind of answers? Maybe you can come over and we can talk about it.
Ninja: Who has called you about the UF opening.
Mullen: Nobody. Although I did speak to the AD a few hours ago just catching up on things.
Ninja: Are you running Treadstone?
Mullen: Huh?
Ninja: Nevermind. Is Megan happy here in Starkville?
Mullen: I guess she is, I'll have to ask her when she gets home.
Ninja: Well that shouldn't take too long. She's standing right next to you. *hangs up*
