He just ripped Ricky for bringing up 9/11 every time he gets in trouble. He said be a man and except responsibility for your actions . It was done under your watch whether you knew or not!

It has nothing to do with anyone but Pitino. Screw the fans, school and players, even last years post season band was a proactive way to protect Pitino and Jurich. But barely any of the players on last year's team were part of the scandal and they so far are the only people to pay a price (and fans). Pitino is refusing to take any blame which switches all the punishment on innocent bystanders.

We joke and poke fun at Pitino here on a regular basis but as this unfolds we are hit with stark evidence of just how self centered, immoral and out of touch with the reality of the situation that he has become,Jurich is right there with him. I can't believe that in the whole institution that is UL there is not a person or group of people with enough clout who are willing to stand up and say enough is enough and changes need to and will be made

The NCAA seems unwilling to take a stand on anything these days,or maybe it is just because of the schools involved( I don't know) but this is bigger than just an athletic issue, the reputation, credibility and ethics of an entire institution are on the line here and they are going to let Jurich and Pitino call the shots to protect themselves at the expense of all else?

Pitino has devolved into someone that I am ashamed was ever involved with UK.
Just has no accountability or ethics.
Yes he has,is it possible he was that bad here and we just didn't see it or didn't want to see it.He has gone completely off the rails but the thing is Jurich is right there with him. He did good work here but as things play out in Louisville the fact that he was here becomes less attractive or something of which to be proud.

Thank God
we had C.M. Newton here at the time!

Because the rumors about RP's tom-cat approach to marital fidelity were swirling around even back then.

It was C.M. who was responsible for the cultural sea-change within the UK AD. . . and his efforts and the efforts of those who followed him have kept our basketball program squeaky clean for the last, what, 30 years.

He also likes to bring up "The Day Ted Kennedy Died" which is actually fitting since Kennedy was the only man Pitino knew who was a worse sexual deviant. What is it about these Northeast men that makes them so strange and men you have to guard your daughters, sisters, wives and mothers from being around. Sometimes they even go after a grandmother.

Sure am glad he left Ky and ended up at the Ville, talking about shame he would have brought to UK if he had stayed..

To any Louisville fans looking in...Read what Doc wrote above...then read again...and again...and again until it finally sinks in!!

And he always talks about how he loved his brother-in-law and how he wants to honor him. I have always said that if he really wanted to honor Minardi, he should quit sleeping with anything in a skirt, and stop making Minardi's sister a laughing stock. I'm glad that Patrick has seen through this routine and that, at least someone in the media has brought it up. We have been saying it for years.
