Dan River's Wesley Thornton remains undefeated on the season as he posted his third shutout of the season in a 5-0 victory over Appomattox County on Wednesday.
Thornton allowed two singles and three walks,
hit two batters and struck out eight as he blanked the Raiders. He hit
3-for-3, doubled and singled and scored twice.
