If Dan takes his "dream job" who are we looking at for HC?

Will TSUN grab Hud before we can?

I'm totally confident that Strick will make a good hire and is already thinking about this, but who would we be looking at?

Why would anyone take the PSU job right now? They are going to make a PC hire to get some cover, this pervert coverup is going to be around for a long long time and cost a ton of money. I can't believe Mullen, no matter what his dream job is, would walk into that situation.

Hope you are right. I love Dan. But you're being naive if you think Stricklin doesn't have a short list in his back pocket.

Please Explain how the PSU opening is a dream job for anyone. This child sex abuse is here for a while...sure, an up and comer will jump at the opportunity to coach a PSU, but someone with a solid program and plenty of university support? Makes no sense to leave that and head into the pile of **** that is PSU.</p>

But why would anyone with all the legal uncertainty around Penn State go there? So because he grew up a Penn State fan he's going to leave a job making 2.65 Mil in the best division in the best conference in college to take over a program where the legendary Coach has been outed as a tyrant who covered up a Pederast's behaviorfor years. If he takes the Penn State job then he's an idiot.

As soon as Penn State hires someone then the Mullen to X,Y,Z rumors will pop up. At this point I hate all these sky is falling rumors are worse than if he really did leave.

He may have jumped at it if it had been offered a month ago, but now he's got to at least think twice about it. That scandal is going to be a very dark cloud hanging over that program for at least the next 5 years.

But having to rebuild after a child abuse scandal with multiple recruits saying they will not even consider PSU anymore? An HC at an SEC school would never take that. Its just another rebuilding process, maybe even more so than when Dan got here. I doubt he wants to go to another university and rebuild an image, deal with the daily questions of the sex abuse scandal, and try and recruit to a school with all of that hanging over PSU. PSU just became an extremely unattractive job, and I'm not sure who would take it right now.
