Dan Wolken - out @ USA Today Sports

I often found myself disagreeing with Dan on a lot of subjects especially is woke politicization of subjects, but he is a damned good writer and a trusted voiced for breaking news in major sports.

I will never forget him on Bo Bounds show after learning that Ole Miss had purposefully misled the national media about the NCAA LOI in 2016 to avoid losing that recruiting class (Hey AJ) when he referred to the local media as the "Cultish Klanish Media Bubble Surrounding Oxford". I don't know that I have ever heard a better description of that place.

He was one of the leading voices saying we shouldn't have played the 2020 season. For that reason alone, I haven't liked him sense. He was way too devoted to politics to be a good sports journalist
